Meridians Kitchen and Bar is a sister business to Meridians: Wine | Beer | Food, a retail shop that’s been operating in Fairfield since 2014. The owners, David and Josh, had always envisioned branching out into the bar and restaurant business when the time was right. In early 2019, they were able to access the old Dancing Elephant restaurant (as locals know it), and at the same time, coincidentally, they met their future executive chef: JB! David and Josh bring to this project a deep knowledge of small production, hand crafted wine and beer, and experience working in local agriculture. JB brings many years of elevated culinary experience and a drive to innovate and capitalize on Maine’s rich farm and food heritage. The entire team at Meridians is dedicated to providing the community with a restaurant and bar that provides a fun space to share artisanal cuisine and drinks. The mission is for all to eat well, drink well, and be merry.

PARKING

There is street parking in front of the Meridians and down Main St. If street front parking is full, there are abundant spaces in a large lot immediately behind our building. If you’re driving northbound, simply take a hard right around back of the buildings that Meridians is a part of. You can also pull into the parking lot by taking a right at the Big Apple at the south end of our block.
